Vitacost Haul! (Would I Re-Purchase?)

Hello Beautiful Peeps!

I hope you are all doing well and feeling full of holiday cheer!

If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen that I have been promising a Vitacost haul. Since then, I have received yet another order and decided to group them together.

If you never heard of Vitacost, they are an online store selling all kinds of healthy and environmentally conscious products at discounted prices. You don’t need a membership and they offer specials all the time.

If you purchase $25 of their own brand, you get free shipping on your order even if you add on other brands after the $25. These guys sell all of my favorites like Andalou Naturals, Avalon Organics, Nature’s Gate, Mineral Fusion and Kiss My Face.

I have been experimenting with their own brand of products ( Glo Naturals and The Clean Collection) and have been really impressed so far.

Enough jibber jabber…on with the haul!

Glo Naturals Lavender Body Bar

So I totally forgot to take a picture before I ripped open the packaging and started using…oops! This is the type of soap that you remove the packaging and your whole bathroom smells like it…so good! This stuff is great! Lathers really well, smells delicious and last over a month of use. Would buy again.

Vitacost Organic Olive Oil

This is my first grocery purchase from Vitacost and I am very happy with it. Has a great taste and aroma and is a quality oil without a hefty price tag. This bottle was around $9. Not bad for organic, first cold pressed olive oil.

Avalon Organics Nourishing Lavender Shampoo

Ok, there are several Lavender scented items in this haul because, well, I love Lavender! What better way to unwind than by smelling this relaxing scent while washing your hair or using it on the body? I haven’t tried this shampoo yet but I love Avalon Organics products and this smells amazing. Review to come!

Avalon Organics Nourishing Lavender Body & Shower Wash

I have been using the 365 shower wash from Whole Foods and I have no complaints about it but the Avalon Organics products were on sale when I placed this order and I really wanted to give this a try. Haven’t broken it out yet but it smells amazing, like the shampoo.

Glo Naturals Argan Shampoo

I love experimenting with shampoo but I get really picky when it comes to my frizzy, dry, curly locks and oily scalp. I need something that gently cleanses without stripping my hair. This shampoo had great reviews on their site so I gave it a try. Love it! It does exactly what I need it to do without nasty ingredients and it lathers beautifully! Would repurchase.

Andalou Naturals Argan & Sweet Orange Conditioner

Honestly, this is my 3rd bottle of this conditioner. As much as I love to try new hair care products; I just can’t get away from this one. For starters, it smells delicious! It is rich and thick but doesn’t weigh down my hair. It has great, clean ingredients and is cruelty free. It just checks all of my boxes. Would I repurchase? Absolutely!

Kiss My Face Moisture Shave

If you have followed my blog for some time, you have seen my review on this product before. If not, you can check it out Here. I love this product! After buying 2 smaller sizes, I decided to just go for the larger 11oz pump. If the smaller tube lasted me a couple of months, this baby should see me well into next spring. Would I repurchase? Definitely!

The Clean Collection “I’m Taking You To The Cleaners” Laundry Detergent and “I’m A Soft Touch” Fabric Softener

You guys know I’m all about non-toxic products with clean ingredients. Finding laundry detergent that isn’t toxic to us and the environment is already a challenge; nevermind fabric softener!

I was skeptical about these guys but for around $6 each, I decided to give them a try. Most “non-toxic” laundry detergents are at least twice the price so I figured I had nothing to lose. I LOVE THEM! They both work well at washing and softening clothes.

I ran each ingredient through the Environmental Working Group’s website and found that these guys are actually safer and “cleaner” than some of the big name brands on the market. Would I repurchase? Yes! I already bought 2 more of each to have for back up!

Nature’s Gate Lavender & Aloe Body Lotion

This drier season has my skin beginning for moisturization! I like to make my own body oils and balms but sometimes I just don’t have the energy. I get really picky with what I put on my skin because it is our largest organ and the one place you should be more conscious of ingredients. Afterall, it’s going to be absorbed into your body. Nature’s Gate is a great brand that I have tried in the past and I saw the reviews on this lotion were great. I couldn’t agree more. It has a soft scent that isn’t offensive and it absorbs very quickly. This lotion leaves my skin feeling very soft without being greasy or sticky.

That’s it for the haul. I hope you peeps enjoyed this post and will consider Vitacost for your natural beauty and grocery needs (they carry everything from personal hygiene to beauty, cleaning products, pantry items, teas, supplements, pet health, sports nutrition and more). Remember that orders of their brand name items ship free with $25 minimum and orders of other brands ship free with $49 minimum. Oh, and their shipping is fast, none of that 7-10 day business. Check them out Here

Stay Awesome Peeps,
